My first drawing was a car and whenever possible, a vehicle would be adapted into my art projects. A fondness for the automobile was ignited during a visit to a race-car factory during my youth. Blessed by God with a natural talent, I was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and studied at Art Center College of Design. In 1984, after a dozen years of advertising art, a switch was made to painting full time. Starting with scenes of the Palm Springs area, I branched out to paintings of city and seascapes, historical landmarks and harbors scenes from San Francisco to San Diego. Hundreds of those paintings are of the beach cities, Laguna and Newport. While living on the Southern California coast, I did a series of seabird paintings.
From extensive traveling across America, my works now include scenes from Key West to Canada and Miami to Maui. My original paintings are in collections throughout the United States and in several foreign countries. Thank you for visiting this site and I appreciate your comments. Hope you enjoy my work.
